The official field guide to Maskies: the collection, its visual language and the verified places to find it.
Overview
Maskies is a collection of 1,000 monochrome pixel identities on Robinhood Chain. The visual system is deliberately constrained: one palette, hard pixel edges and faces defined by the details that survive when everything unnecessary is removed.
The mask is the collection's central idea. It represents the version of identity that Web3 makes possible — pseudonymous but recognizable, private but social, and owned by the wallet rather than assigned by a platform.
Each Maskie works as a profile picture, a collector signal and a small piece of shared visual culture. As holders carry their characters across profiles and communities, the collection develops a recognizable identity of its own.

The visual language
Maskies uses monochrome portraiture to make difference visible through structure rather than color. Hair, masks, eyes, expression and clothing form the character of each piece. The result is minimal from a distance and individual up close.
Why only 1,000?
A smaller supply gives each character more presence. Maskies is intended to feel like a compact cast rather than an endless output: enough variety for discovery, limited enough for individual faces to remain memorable.
